Mercedes Oem Floor Mats Is It Safe To Have Mercedes Benz Front Passenger Window Replaced With Aftermarket "chinese" Glass?

Is it safe to have Mercedes Benz front passenger window replaced with aftermarket "chinese" glass? - mercedes oem floor mats

Aftermarket Dealer wants $ 360, but in another place quoted me $ 195 for the front passenger window replaced, with the exception of "Chinese glass, not OEM. Is it still safe? What is the difference?

You must decide whether the glass breaks in the car, so that previously thought. In any case, the dealer is always the most expensive, so you do not do that.

while the glass is marked with security classification well. Auto glass has security clearance (AS2 AS1, etc.) must AS1 windshield and side windows and rear, are marked only need to be thinking AS2.
the only concern would be aftermarket tinted glass is the same as the original? This may seem odd otherwise.

I am not worried, because the provider of Mercedes is probably from China anyway, really ..
